Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Cloud

We use Microsoft Defender for Azure File Shares and Virtual Machines. It helps to protect our data and safeguard Information. We also use It for safeguarding SQL Databases backed up on Azure. It mostly address the security perspective and provides me alerts If any malicious activity is detected. We also use It for App Services(Web Apps) It scans through and provides If any malicious website is accessed or any component is malfunctioning.

We have all of our resources on azure cloud. We fully leverage Azure for catering to all our needs. It provides us flexibility for managing resources.
Yes It has helped to reduce the threat alerts. We mostly received alerts for SQL Vulnerability and Storage Account notifications. It helped us to create guidelines to help us protect any malicious attacks. We have been able to reduce the alerts by 70% as per the recommendations provided.
Yes, as we have the entire Infrastructure on Azure we cant rely on third party tools. Microsoft defender for cloud has greatly helped us to save cost for more than 200-300$ as it perfectly integrated with our resources
It provides great Integration with the existing resources. As we don’t have to worry about the compatibility of the product with our resources.

It is appropriate but still needs improvement, the recommendations It suggests needs to be fine-tuned more to accumulate the resources. It keeps changing every month which makes it hard to Implement the same. The security review provides great Insights on the number of recommendations to be implemented. Storage account protection should be more customisable.
