Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

It really is for endpoint security and proactive detection. Because we outsource, I'm not the one looking at all the alerts, but I'm getting alerted when we have incidents and when a human needs to provide more insights on the type of issue and the person's background or whereabouts.

Pros

  • Well it's going to send us alerts because we have a monetary service. The IT looking for the different issues will contact me if, let's say there's a tentative intrusion for a specific user or if there are mass tentatives on one single user, then I'm going to get the call to say, "do you know what's happening? Do we need to restart this user or change a password?" and things like that. So it's a proactive security detection system.

Cons

  • maybe not at that level, but so far nothing to complain about.
  • Other
I was to have a single source, a single vendor to manage all our ecosystem, basically the Microsoft Suite.
