Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
We use it for securing our endpoints and it's to make sure that users don't make foolish decisions on their computers.
Pros
- It is pretty robust in the sense of alerting and what it does for our users as far as it's integrated to their operation systems and so it makes it easy for them to see alerts as well on their endpoints. And then for us to get information within our same platform
Cons
- I think the biggest problem with it for us is just lack of visibility in that when it comes to putting it within Microsoft's platform. So for us, the platform is so robust, but if you don't have every feature for it, it kind of loses some of the functionality.
- It's helped us out a lot of compliance and regulation things. It helps us to make sure that our users don't make foolish decisions and so I think the investment is well worth it.
- Integration with Other Systems
I think it was that it integrates well, that it's not hard to use, that our users don't get a lot of alerts and work stop issues. And it was easy to onboard for my employees and my team and to utilize and see it all within Microsoft's ecosystem. And I think that was probably the most important thing. It was easy to push in with Microsoft.
We're using it for the EDR primarily and we're utilizing it daily as users for scanning and for endpoint detection.
It's probably 100-125.
