Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Hands-on Labs

I have used Microsoft Hands-on Labs for both Sharepoint and Power Platform instructor-led training. The labs allow me to work in real-time in a Microsoft environment alongside an instructor to get real-time feedback. There are also usually scenarios and instructions alongside the lab to tell me what to do and where to go.
  • Actual Microsoft environment to play around with
  • Instructions alongside
  • Ability to save a session so you don't lose work
  • Copying and pasting can be clunky
  • Sometimes the instructions are not accurate
  • For some Microsoft tools, it requires you to create a temporary account, which takes some time and is time-consuming
  • Have to remember to save or you will lose your environment
  • May not be the most user-friendly to initially start
  • Real-time feedback with a Microsoft product
  • Instructions on the side so you know where you are
  • Ability to copy and paste the text into the application (it's a little clunky but it works)
  • Has made training more efficient and is better for learner retention

Do you think Microsoft Hands-on Labs delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Microsoft Hands-on Labs's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Hands-on Labs live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Hands-on Labs go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Microsoft Hands-on Labs again?

Yes

The Microsoft Hands-on Labs were great for training when working alongside an instructor. They would show things on their screen, and I would work alongside with a real environment. Being able to actually use the environment and interact with it was more preferable than just a straight lecture. It allowed me hands-on practice.
