Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Planner

Our Marcomm department uses Planner to organize tasks and workflows. We also use the forms function to allow other departments to submit a request that we can then assign to the correct user for execution. This allows the team to prioritize requests instead of taking orders.
  • Organize tasks by person
  • Assigning dates to sub-tasks
  • Making tasks dependent on one another
  • Calendar
  • Assigning tasks
  • Form to receive tasks
  • Positive productivity in people
  • Ability to see team tasks and status
I've used Asana and prefer it to Microsoft Planner. Asana has more functionalities than Planner and I think it is more user-friendly.

Do you think Microsoft Planner delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft Planner's feature set?

No

Did Microsoft Planner live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Planner go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Microsoft Planner again?

No

I think this is a good built-in option for someone using Office 365 and doesn't want to spend additional money on a project management tool.
