Overall Satisfaction with MobileIron

MobileIron is used to provide secure remote access to corporate email while ensuring end users are complying with corporate policies.

Pros

  • Provides excellent tools for detecting and insuring compliance with corporate policies.
  • Provides tools for escalating response for non-compliance.
  • Excellent support team backing a quality product.

Cons

  • Windows Mobile support needs improvement.
  • Being able to track users arriving in new countries and lock data until configured has resulted in a direct savings for the company.
  • The ability to push apps, track, lock, and remotely wipe a phone has prevented data loss from occurring. This includes blocking a phone when rooted or jailbroken.
  • Customer service has been fast to respond and resolve issues for unusual configurations.
  • Microsoft InTune
MobileIron has superior reporting and management options. Support for multiple mail server configurations. Better proactive response. Superior support for multiple mobile OS.
Is multiple mobile OS support key? MobileIron is the right choice. Is integration with Active Directory policies for configuration? Might require a bit of tuning/scripting.
