Overall Satisfaction with National Instruments Multisim

We used it to simulate power electronics circuits and design various circuits. It's necessary to simulate circuits before actually implementing them and testing then at various voltages and other parameters. Simulating in Multisim let's us know if the circuit is correct and gives various output parameters parameters which can be compared so that circuit elements won't get damaged based on limits.

Pros

  • It has various components available
  • Real time simulation of various circuits
  • Various types of simulations for a single circuits to obtain plots and values

Cons

  • It's good but sometimes error during simulation won't be more specific
  • Has wide range of elements but some specifications aren't available
  • Nothing
  • Various simulation parameters
  • Various components and features like multimeter, oscilloscope
  • Available template examples
  • Prevent components from being burnt out
  • Better design of circuits
  • Real time testing

Do you think National Instruments Multisim delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with National Instruments Multisim's feature set?

Yes

Did National Instruments Multisim live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of National Instruments Multisim go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy National Instruments Multisim again?

Yes

For simulation of electrical and electronics circuits either in transient or normal mode or various other modes. To obtain plots between various circuit parameters and elements and also check values of various output parameters based on input parameters. It also has various examples in the library which make it easier to modify few params instead of designing circuits from scratch
