Happy as a clam
Overall Satisfaction with Network for Good
STEPS' Communications Committee uses NFG. Although not everyone on the committee is registered to use NFG, there are 3 of us who use it. One of the business problem we faced in the beginning was needing to create an email blast in addition to a campaign page, which was confusing and time consuming in the beginning.
Pros
- Provide coaching
- Organizes donors/amounts
- Thank you reminders
Cons
- When creating a campaign page - it looks strange with then start/end dates/times shown if campaign runs for more than 1 day
- NFG should be able to download more than jpeg documents
- There is no way of changing the delivery time
- Contact groups
- Instant fundraising records
- Instant "thank you" messages
- Numbers up in fundraising overall
- Peer to Peer fundraising - although intimidating in the beginning, it will turn out to provide a better way of fundraising for STEPS. We have a fundraiser starting 10/1 which I know will bring in our goal or over.
- We've received many positives comments about our programs and impact the programs are making on our girls.
We used Mailchimp in a basic sense. No where near to the capacity that we currently use Network for Good. STEPS we chosen to use Network for Good by a local organization for the first year at no cost to our organization. With the guidance of our coach and online training, we were able to take our communications to the next level.
