Overall Satisfaction with Network for Good
Generous Gardeners is a non-profit volunteer gardening group that maintains 45 public garden spaces in Gloucester Massachusetts including a quarter mile of formal dahlia gardens along Stacy Boulevard that attract over a million visitors a year. Previously, we were using google spreadsheets to keep track of donations and Mailchimp for communication with volunteers and Wordpress plugins for our events. It is still managed mostly by just a few people, but we finally felt like we could afford a more professional management system to put everything into one place.
This system is really focused on donor management which we are still learning about, so that side of things will be helpful. We are all volunteers so there is no staff to do administrative things. Having it all in one place and web-based helps save a lot of time.

- Manage Donors
- Manage Events
- Communicate with Volunteers and Donors
- When people sign up for our newsletter, their physical mailing address is not automatically added to the database.
- When my editors review my email drafts, there isn't a way to communicate within the application. Mail Chimp did that a little bit better.
- email blast communiciation
- event management
- donor management
- It has saved me considerable time
- It allows me to share more aspects of management with others
- It means I don't have multiple platforms to manage.
