Overall Satisfaction with NGINX Plus

NGINX Plus is our primary load balancing solution. We leverage automation through GitHub to manage the platforms.

Pros

  • Seamless integration
  • Ease of use
  • Scalable

Cons

  • Monitoring through a centralized platform, I believe this is a new offering but it should've been part of the original offering
  • We have been able to reduce our physical footprint in our data centers by going VM and leveraging NGINX Plus for our load balancing solution

3 - Red Hat Linux, scripting, Load Balancing, and automation skills are part of their skill set.

We had an issue after upgrading from RHEL 7 to 8, and there were some issues that the security team imposed upon the platform with a scanning tool. We also had a VXLAN environment that was not properly sending a gratuitous arp to the network. NGINX support was instrumental to speedily resolving our issue.
