Overall Satisfaction with NGINX Plus

Our Tier 1 applications are all behind NGINX Plus - this includes Jira, Confluence, ADmanager, etc. It's been a great tool for access, speed and security wise. We first used Nginx and moved to NGINX Plus 3 years ago in order to get Support as well as the built in modules or advanced load balancing.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Secure access to our applications with allow lists
  • Fast changes

Cons

  • An AI bot would be cool to help build config files
  • More webinars for advanced NGINX Plus would be great
  • GUI tool... might already be one available
  • All positives - keeping our Tier 1 applications secure
  • All positives - keeping our Tier 1 applications available with HA/load balancing
  • All Positives - keeping our Tier 1 applications accessible super fast
It's been great for us for 3+ years now.

Makes our life easy as application admins in securing our applications and making them accessible. We can easily add an application within a few minutes and define the backend servers right away.
