Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Autonomous Database
We have been using Oracle Autonomous Database for quite sometime now. It has been a very good overall experience. Oracle Autonomous Database has been widely used across the board with multiple applications and he overall performance is great. Oracle Autonomous Database helps the organization, provides a great way to hold the data and the retrieval is simple as well.
Pros
- Robust - this product doesn't have a lot of downtime. It's less prone to errors than some other tools I've worked with.
- Scalable - we can keep adding more things to it. We haven't hit any roadblocks when we've tried to do more with our database.
Cons
- Performance - this is true of a lot of databases as you grow. As you get bigger, the performance of the database takes a hit.
- Reduced the cost of traditional database.
