Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

Oracle Managed DNS provides the DNS services for all of our production services.

Pros

  • We use their traffic management features to route users to our services efficiently.
  • DNS configuration is quick and easy.
  • Changes are easily staged and applied after final review.

Cons

  • User interface is a bit dated.
  • Filtering and sorting is inconsistent.
  • Allows us to focus on our core business without worry about DNS failures.
The UI provides all of the necessary configuration options but I find it to be a bit clunky.
It works great for providing reliable highly available DNS services with advanced features at a fair price.

    Thank you for taking the time to share this valuable feedback. As the future of the combined Oracle and Dyn Edge Services platform has become more clear, User Experience has been a major focal point. I don’t anticipate a single grand unveiling of a new look and feel but rather a regular release of iterative improvements.
