Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Financials
Oracle Financials is used primarily by the Business Control (Finance and Accounting) department. It provides our local management reporting and is used for our budgeting/planning tool. We also use it to perform our reporting to our Parent company. It addresses our needs to drill down to lower level data while reporting at a higher level.
- The user interface is fairly easy to navigate.
- It has great reporting writing functionality.
- It performs complex consolidations.
- The web version of the Financial Reporting Studio is difficult to use.
- The load error reports are difficult to decipher.
- Difficult to quantify. I would say our initial investment has produced a positive ROI in that we are better able to analyze our business and make informed business decisions.
