Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Integration (OIC)
OIC is being used across multiple departments in our organization for application to application integration. This helps streamline the business process as well as eliminates the need for data entry into multiple systems.
- Rapid prototyping and development of integrations with the many out of the box adapters.
- The integration monitoring tools are key to successful testing and support.
- UI is very clean and easy to navigate.
- Need the ability to reuse integration modules.
- Take advantage of screen real estate and eliminate all the popups.
- Still need more adapters for connectivity.
- It has helped business objectives where we have been able to implement it by eliminating duplicate data entry freeing time for employees to focus on value add activities.
- The platform is fairly stable but we have had negative impacts where we have had issues with on-premise agents failing.
This is my first PaaS product I've used, so I cannot compare it to others, but I can attest to the ease of development vs coding integrations from scratch. It is a huge time saver from a development standpoint.
