Overall Satisfaction with Planview Enterprise

  • PV is good at managing segregation of financial data so that the role based hierarchy can be be implemented.
  • Financial Index for health of projects is calculated and displayed directly in the dashboard and one can customize their own portfolio and monitor health accordingly.
  • One of the best applications around for submission of timesheets for employees and vendors.
  • Facility to dump data into .xls or .csv files which can be further taken up for automating and creating for complex and mature dashboards.
  • Apart from On Demand Reports, giving more flexibility like Rational Clearquest to play around with various columns and create custom reports.
  • Desktop based apps so that the overall functionality is faster.
  • Possibilities of adding macros to automate some dashbaord activities.
  • Better tracking of enterprise projects.
  • Helps better control of portfolio and better portfolio tracking.
