Overall Satisfaction with Progress Sitefinity
We use the software to manage our internal and external websites. It is used by the content managers across the organization to manage and update their specific information in an efficient and controlled manner. It allows our environments to be managed in a streamlined and secure way that helps in reducing the amount of code and digital media maintenance we need to do.
- System is easy to use.
- Good support system that helps with ensuring successful implementation.
- Relationship managers are knowledgeable and supportive.
- Pages and content can be managed by content managers and the process is intuitive enough that we didn't have to spend a lot of time training.
- The reuse of code allows us to reduce the amount of code and places the code resides to keep our environment clean and efficient.
- It is sometimes difficult working with offshore resources only because of time differences.
- We have submitted product enhancements.
- Quicker turnaround on hot fixes.
- Reduction in help desk tickets to manage content or do break fix code. (85% reduction)
- Using API to install a process that would have cost an estimated 1 million - we did it on 10K.
We evaluated approximately 8 other products (Wordpress, moodle etc.) and SiteFinity was always topping the list of the features that were on our list as must haves.
