Overall Satisfaction with Progress Sitefinity

Sitefinity is being used to manage all company websites in multiple different regions and languages. Sitefinity simplifies the process of new content creation by allowing multiple people to create and edit content before it is checked and published to the live website.

Language translation and management between different countries is also easy through Sitefinity.

Pros

  • Simplicity of the interface
  • Powerful language management
  • Easy to design templates
  • Integration with other systems

Cons

  • Install process is very technical and best done by an expert.
  • Upgrades are similarly technical.
Sitefinity is particularly useful in an environment where there are no in-house web developers or web designers due to it's simplicity to roll out new web content and make changes to existing content. One of the areas which can be particularly complicated is for companies that operate in multiple countries and languages and Sitefinity manages this with relatively little user knowledge.
