Overall Satisfaction with Progress Sitefinity
We adopted the Sitefinity software back when it was in version 3.x and have continued to expand our Sitefinity portfolio. Sitefinity is not a lightweight package and therefore does have its challenges, but these challenges primarily involve changes to the "out-of-the-box" package. Progress has done an excellent job to keep abreast of the changing technology. The community is a very vibrant one with lots of support.
- It provides an excellent library management package
- It is extensible
- It is progressive on its use of technology
- Documentation lacks. There is no mapping of database fields and usage.
- Some custom features are lacking completeness. However this can be corrected with expert programming.
