Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

We use Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for automation of server deployments, configuration deployments. We are able to automate quality systems in a consistent way, that increases our system reliability.

Pros

  • Configuration as code
  • Allows RBAC delegation of admin related tasks (Server, Service restarts)
  • Facilitates and standardize changes made to our systems in a consistent manner.

Cons

  • Surveys
  • More variables exposed into notifications
  • Speed and quality of delivery of infrastructure changes
Its relatively easy to use once you get used to it but some people still struggle to do the content creation of playbooks.
