Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We plan to automate the VM customizations using it, like copying custom apps into /opt, performing Zabbix registration, Mounting AWS Netapp ONTAP FSX volumes, etc automatically.
Possibly we'll also switch from custom remote-execution scripts to Ansible workflow, if possible.
Software installation and configuration copying, together with RHEL subscription registration seem to be of use as well.

Pros

Creation of preconfigured systems, similar to kickstart but next-level
Automatic bulk changes to VM groups

Cons

Support for non-RH Linux distributions and BSDs

Usability

Because its does simple automations well. Its not like doing complex stuff with shell scripts in Jenkins...
