If you are looking for something to run your most important applications on look into porting it over to Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

When it comes support ability 10 windows admins to 1 is shocking. With the Linux admin also knowing windows adminstration.

Very easy to use if you like being challenged mentally from time to time.

It’s great for application that require high availability. Easy to mange assuming your are using cli and easy to adapt or learn if you are up the challenge. Once you have the entire suite of tools installed in the environment it’s very easy to mange and operate. Where less appropriate? When you have 10 windows admins to 1 in your organization.
