Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Our organization use it for servers infrastructure general platform.

Pros

  • Manages all of our web and Azure stuff and AWS. It's our gateway for all of our infrastructure really.

Cons

  • I think satellite server has the most room for improvement, so it needs to be easier and quicker to deploy.
  • It's a positive impact at our bottom line. It's been cheaper to deploy, quicker to deploy.
Mainly for the end users. For my CIS admins it's great but it lacks the overall polish that some of the lower, higher endos is used.
Ubuntu ssa. Most other Linux platforms I've used. It's better in some areas. It's not as good in the sum.
