Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

We need a stable OS to support our various applications that produce our satellite internet service.

  • Dependency on red hat ecosystem
  • It supports all of our production applications as the base OS, which produces our internet service.
  • It has been priceless in terms of ROI as it has provided reliability to our service.
  • We don’t have to deal with frequent issues due to problems on the OS level. And it is easily configurable.
There is a learning curve to use it as it is not commonly used on personal computers. There is also the learning curve of installation and set up. But the reliability, documentation, and package management that you get is great.
Windows 11 has more stability and great functionality compared to older windows versions, and the gap between windows and Linux has shortened. You can pick from different OS’s to build enterprise level software on nowadays. But Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is still among the top choices for its reliability, support, security, documentation, and certified ecosystem.
