Overall Satisfaction with Sage 50

Sage 50 is used only by our accounting department to track the finances of the company.
  • Easy to navigate
  • Flexible
  • User-level security settings
  • Export / Import from Excel
  • Too many program updates without actual noticeable change.
  • Import of entries from Excel could be easier.
  • A/P Check writing is cumbersome and prints items that it shouldn't.
User security, ease of use, flexibility.
For general accounting use, the program works well for us. However, we use an outside payroll processor and a separate billing database for our detailed billing. Through the use of import/export, we are able to tie these together.

Using Sage 50

It's not easy to transfer to new accounting programs. Also, for the modules we use, Sage is the most competitively priced.
