Use Cases and Deployment Scope

A standardized integration platform with multiple capabilities beyond integration. In the initial phase, SAP Business Technology Platform was positioned for its integration services pillar, where the same was to be used for integrating around 160+ interfaces. In the subsequent phase, the plan is to extend the same for LC/NC and Automation features of the same. If all three are going to be successful, there is a distant plan to extend the AI features too.

I Doc integration was cumbersome

2 way error handling mechanisms if incorporated can support proactive biz operations

Expect the tech stack downtimes for patching and other security issues as its managed by SAP

Usability

The integration Services pillar has been on the lines or even a tad better than expected. Yet to roll out the automation and LC/NC side. However, such functional features and options being available makes it a lot easier and technologically comforting

It's good when reached out through the customer or on their behalf. To improve the responsiveness, add the SAP account relationship manager too.

Around 40-45 % of the business operations are touched by SAP enterprise applications, and the SAP Business Technology Platform can support a seamless integration platform that will enable diverse tech stack integrations. This supports a simplified design for HANA (if not migrated yet) migration. This helps a better implementation of native S/4 features rather than customizing the application. The fundamental advantage I see is that
1) Helps you enable a microservices-based architecture
2) Keeps the core clean, resulting in a better-configured system that is futuristic i.e. scalable to the needed extent and in required areas
