The BTP usage strategy (full BTP, hybrid with other vendor tools, no BTP at all) depends on the business case and on your current technical landscape. And depending on the scenario, the timeframe from exploration phase to shipped to prod could be really fast (OData Provisionning, Launchpad service, Subaccount management, etc.)
In other cases, it could be harder and much longer, mostly with the most recent services not enough mature, or some technical prerequisites are mandatory before starting the usage ex. Mobile start)
