Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform

Work done as part of a huge 50+ billion FMCG company
We use SAP Business Technology Platform to build custom applications on top of S/4HANA - cloud foundry based using APIs mostly from S/4HANA pvt cloud.
we also use it for integration with 3rd partys (e.g., governments, Tax authorities, etc.)

Pros

  • Much better UX
  • Availability of services
  • Appeal to New Generation of Developers (non-ABAPers)
  • More easy to scale

Cons

  • Clear commercial model
  • ±20% user adoption
  • ±50% increase in end user satisfaction
we used the SAP API business Hub to jump start into many of the developments we were requested to make
