We are currently doing a POC for Datasphere which is part of SAP Business Technology Platform

Pros

  • to integrate data between different tools
  • data fabric

Cons

  • Integration with HANA modeling
the concept of data fabric , keeping the business sematics intact and limiting the data movement due to data federation
I have not seen or used any of the use cases
to align with SAP roadmap
