Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform
I’m working for the second largest Retailer in Norway. We have a relatively lagre SAP footprint and are currently using SAP Business Technology Platform in a limited scope connecting to our On prem ECC ERP 6.0. We are using mobile services for a native mobile app for tracking transports from main warehouse to our stores.
Pros
- Authentication using IAS with MS Entra
- Security since app is used by external users
- Good solution for supporting digital access to our On prem solution saving license cost
Cons
- Better SDK support for android and modern frameworks
- Digital access to ECC erp core saved significant license cost supporting BC for developing app
