Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integrated Business Planning

The platform is used for component material delivery, manufacturing, delivery to warehouse, and deployment to customers.

Pros

  • Manufacturing planning.
  • Setting inventory targets and meeting the targets.
  • Getting the demand and supply on the same page.

Cons

  • Graphic visualization of high-level supply and demand at the country level, showing planning levels, and major KFs.
  • The platform should be easy to use, such as showing the KF definition as an attribute and enabling trace and tracking of dependencies among KF.
  • We need to enable incremental changes in metrics in different scenarios.
  • Enable new features based on the base module (not newer modules like order-based planning).
  • The optimizer result should show influential drivers in descending orders per metric.
  • don't have data to provide a response.
It is a robust platform with a steep learning curve.
