Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integrated Business Planning

We are a software company using SAP Integrated Business Planning for our own planning purposes. We do have a lot side calculations that have to be brought into SAP. The main use case is to have a single spurt of truth and have all the data consolidated in SAP. We had too much information spread around very the business units. This is now easier.

The way we set it up is probably very simple, but at the same time we had some challenges to adopt the right templates. Especially the on demand forecasting is poor.

Pricing. The license Modell is very attractive for the size of our company (14 native users)
Well at least, the cost factor und the implementation time. 4 month from the decision to the productive use. This is overall being accept very fast! SAP Integrated Business Planning definitely increased the quality of our data and decision making process.

Well suited for Ressource planning and forecasting. The AI portion is still poor. The integrated budgeting functions are still ‚under construction’. We will work soon on the deployment of the first templates. Those are looking very simple. We will work on some AI based forecasting in the near future (next 2-4 month).
