Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite
Internally we mainly use the cloud integration capability within SAP Integration Suite for integrating various CX scenarios, mainly between sap S/4Hana on premise and Sales and Service Cloud, Sales and Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud and a third party Webinar service provider, and for pioneering work integrating sap sales and service cloud version 2 with sap emarsys
Pros
- Prepackaged content
- Open connectors and custom adapters
- Flexibility and adaptability for implementing integration scenarios of various complexities
Cons
- Monitoring aimed at business users
- Insights into resource consumption on a flow step level
- Robust retry mechanisms
- It has been crucial in the adoption of our various CX solutions, as our sales reps would not want to maintain all data twice
- As an implementation partner, the integratioms we've set up between sales cloud v2 and emarsys has been crucial as a productive proof of concept in winning some key early adopter projects as
- Our marketing team has been enabled to turn Webinar attendance into actionable campaigns without spending a lot of time — mandatory in a post covid world
In our own internal use cases we mainly synchronize master and some transactional data between the sap cloud CX products and S4 Hana on premise. We have definitely benefited as the adoption of these CX products would not have been possible without the integrations enabled by the integration suite. It would have been foolish to consider any competitor offering as they do not come with prepackaged content and would have incurred a significant developer and adoption cost.
The best thing about SAP Integration Suite is the prepackaged content and ready-made adapters—they make setup so much quicker and cut down on custom work. Plus, since our team already knows SAP inside out, it’s a natural fit. We can jump right in and get integrations up and running smoothly.
