Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
SAP S/4HANA Cloud is used as our primary/master ERP. We have other acquisitions and entities that are not on SAP, but we load them into SAP as our source of truth. SAP S/4HANA Cloud helps us to analyze better and troubleshoot the data and house it all in one location.
- Strong controls
- Ample choice of data fields
- Easy to use and understand
- It's not as clear what all of the functions and uses are
- Negative - having to transition to a new system while having multiple services that still use legacy ERP and other systems
- Positive - have great tools and add ins that will help us improve efficiencies once things are running
The most important factor is the product's reputation. It can be hard to justify costs in an organization, but SAP S/4HANA Cloud's reputation makes the conversation easier. Many smaller businesses with similar products can claim this or that, but most people know that SAP has a great reputation and products to suit.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud has a better reputation, and more features, and it was the right call in hindsight.
