Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We, as Bosch had implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud for one of India's prestigious Government sector Power Transmission Utility Corporation. The customer had migrated from On-Premise systems to Cloud and we recommended them to choose SAP S/4HANA Cloud than other cloud ERP products. The customer was using ECC 6.0 which became outdated, and customer wanted to migrate before the product becomes out of SAP support and with SAP S/4HANA Cloud it offered UI friendly Fiori apps to user interface, the infrastructure offered quicker time to migrate
  • We had setup High Availability of SAP S/4HANA Cloud PRD instance, thereby the business interruption was almost nullified.
  • The infrastructure maintenance was easier to maintain when compared to On-Premise SAP systems
  • Since we are adopting Fit-to-Standard approach, we sticked with standard options and functionalities. So, we didn't perform extensive customization
  • Improved efficiency and transparency in the ongoing Business Processes
  • Improved Business Process Monitoring KPIs available in Solution Manager to monitor SAP S/4HANA Cloud Business Processes
Easy to manage the infrastructure and
Existing SAP ECC customer wanted to migrate to the latest ERP product and SAP S/4HANA Cloud was the direct option - On-premise or cloud was the confusion. And by looking at the cost of maintaining an on-premise product, we went with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Easy to integrate with other SAP cloud products such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba etc

SAP S/4HANA Cloud itself has new Business processes introduced, so few processes in the Finance area were really well suited for customer needs, whereas few processes in the Assets area weren't really useful

Yes - SAP ECC 6.0 and reason to replace is the end of SAP support for that product.
