Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP S/4HANA public Cloud has recently been implemented. We went live with the fit to the standard approach and only a few custom developments. The system is used by every employee (time sheeting) and integrations with other sap and non sap apps are in place

Pros

  • Look and feel- user experience
  • release management
  • streamlined processes

Cons

  • integrations with success factors and concur
  • BTP is very complicated and difficult to understand the full picture
  • global approaches: for example irpa vs uipath
It is a great product with optimization potential: some of the areas are: opentext OCR and invoice processing, integration with success factors and concur The user authorization via business catalogs is more or less fine, but would be better to have the possibility to grant access to specific apps only

I see the integration to other sap apps like concur and sufa as a main paint point. It is not seamless, aligned and sometimes old technology
