Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

I work on retail where SAP S/4HANA Cloud is used for supply chain, transport planning, and forecasting and replenishment. SAP S/4HANA Cloud is used as core system to handle main processes and data storage, also as the core system between other SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions and external systems.

Pros

  • Integration with external systems
  • Customization of standard processes
  • Automation of tasks

Cons

  • Processing of large volumes of data
  • Difficulty in interconnectivity with external tools
  • Limited customization
  • Automation of processes reducing costs
  • System integration avoiding manipulation of data
  • Data accuracy
It takes some time to get used to the GUI screens, but the new web version makes them easier for users to follow.

As of now, Joule is not used as this requires additional paid services

Automation of repetitive tasks and result logs is possible to achieve with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud. Notification and event handle is also a nice tool of the system, allowing to customize almost every step of the job automation.
On the other hand, clean core approach is hard to achieve with the current version of the standard transactions.
