Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
SAP S/4HANA Cloud provides super fast querying of transaction data for analytical purposes. At our organization, we use SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Online Analytical Processing (OLAP). The robust database and lightning performance of this database allows us to build a performance dashboard to track the KPIs that drive the success of our products. We're also in the process of using the Data Modelling feature to store structured and unstructured data for the Machine Learning pipeline. This has eased our process of moving into the AI/ML space. All in all, this is one of the fastest database in the market which we have tried.

- Self hosted instance are a memory (mostly due to data storage in memory) but customisation option with a configuration to move least used data to disk would be good
- Data migration from other platforms to SAP S/4HANA is a tedious task. More connectors that can fetch data from various sources would be helpful.
- Hardware support is not extensive, only SAP certified hardware can be used making it difficult to run self-hosted instances.
- Server crashes intermittently while querying for huge chunk of data
- Our KPI tracking has become very sophisticated since SAP S/4HANA Cloud was introduced. This has enabled our Customer Success Managers to improve our product efficiency increasing customer satisfaction and eventually sales. I would say there has been a 30% improvement in the conversion rate.
- Our cloud costs have gone up and hiring resources skilled in SAP products has increased our hiring budget as well.
- The internal efforts towards venturing into AI/ML space have gotten a boost with the introduction of SAP S/4HANA Cloud as it provides the necessary infrastructure for the data pipeline

One of the main reasons we purchased SAP S/4HANA Cloud is to reduce our IT overhead of managing multiple tools to achieve a single functionality. SAP S/4HANA Cloud can replace all these tools to achieve functionality and also provide many more features. Out increasing customer base also made us look at scalability as a very big factor that drove the decision to choose SAP. The tools integration with our existing system is a boon for us and has made working with it a good experience.

The customer support on SAP S/4HANA Cloud is very responsive and helpful. We got the product demo very quickly and also during the trial period we found SAP team to be the most active. The alternative products were also good in their technical aspects but due to the availability of a big talent pool in the market. SAP S/4HANA Cloud is also a proven tool in the industry and is used by a lot of enterprises.
