Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We are using Core Finance and Logistics applications. S/4 HANA is the principal system for all our financial transactions, procurement, inventory management, Billing, Facilities management and Maintenance, Controlling, Planning, and HR & payroll functions. Being an ERP system, it seamlessly integrates various business functions, enabling automation.

Pros

Cons

  • Fiori apps.
  • Innovation within core functionality.
  • Too much maintenance and high cost.
  • complicated licensing.
  • With cost of S/4 HANA cloud solution ROI will take more time.
With the SAP ECC system, administration was less complicated, even though we had to purchase and maintain hardware. With the cloud system, our dependence on SAP has increased, reducing our flexibility. Additionally, certain innovations, such as Fiori apps, lack complete functionality compared to GUI transactions, rendering them ineffective.

It is challenging to decide on new applications that are not part of the core, as they involve separate licensing, which is complicated and often results in high costs.
