My SAP S/4HANA Non-Cloud Review

Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We're on SAP S/4HANA but On-prem.

The product supports almost our entire core business. Integrating all our processes in one unified platform. Primarily Supply Chain and Finance. It is also integrated with various external applications.

Pros

  • I've noticed many standard reports are running faster with even bigger data than before.

Cons

  • The whole Business Partner set-up felt like an over-complication of a once simple Customer Master and Vendor Master maintenance.
  • Hard to tell. But if warehouse operations reverted back to paper-based operations, we'd be crippled for sure.
It has many essential modules for a business. And many of them can be enhanced according to business needs.
  • Integration with Other Systems
I would like to see Joule. But unfortunately, its only available in Cloud

Moving from ECC to SAP S/4HANA was good.
But I don't think we need this in the Cloud.
