Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the first choice to support Finance Processes for Product control team. They are able to report accurate PNL numbers to regulators on time. It helps in improved compliance and fast access of clean data on cloud for business. Its flexible scalability make it favorite with technology team as well as no expensive hardware is needed for deployment.

Pros

  • The maintenance cost is low as compared to its on prim version.
  • Technical Upgrades if any is taken care by SAP team proactively.
  • Security is uncompromisable as it is private CLOUD version.
  • Every year at least 1-2 upgrades provide improved functionality.

Cons

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud requires technology team of IT professionals hence makes it difficult for business to understand and make flexible decisions.
  • For public cloud, adding new features is difficult.
  • Processes which are complex are not very well supported.
  • Impact has been positive as SAP S/4HANA Cloud has been widely accepted in organization.
  • Preparing for migration from PeopleSoft General Ledger to S/4 Ledger.

Our Business is identifying the different use cases to utilize the various AI features along with Joule AI. With the help of Joule business users can get the status of approved adjustments reports, approvals reports, sales reports and the several finance reports through Joule and AI. We are in talks with SAP to implement standard use cases provided by SAP.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud has proven record of integration with other stacks hence SAP S/4HANA Cloud was unanimously chosen. SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the best solution for large scale enterprise like ours.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is very well suited for complex and large scall businesses. It handles complex scenarios very well. Sometimes due to huge data for finance processes the system becomes slow if proper aggregations are not handled well. Small scale businesses have less scope of using SAP S/4HANA Cloud, they are not able to justify the investment done for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
