Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Saviynt is the Identity and Access Management solution used within my Enterprise to manage employee and contractor identities to understand and monitor user access within our environment and to detect as unauthorized users from getting access.

Pros and Cons

Pros

out of the box integration with active directory
ability to scale across the Enterprise globally
good documentation of solution features

Cons

drag and drop for the more advanced configuration set up
ability to simply replicate user entitlement management from AD instead of redoing

Return on Investment

single tool for consolidate identity access across employees and contractors
ability to integrate with ticketing and collaboration tools
visibility into user provisioning and acsess

Usability

As mentioned before, it is an Enterprise grade solution scalable and deployable globally with identity access management, privileged access management, identity governance and user access entitlement all is a single solution with straightforward onboarding and off boarding process.

Alternatives Considered

Okta

Saviynt had very similar functionality at a much lower price point and hence without compromising on features, we got a good solution.

We were able to have identity and access management, identity governance, access entitlement and privileged access management in a single solution and this was a huge benefit in having a single tool do all this. It is an Enterprise grad product and hence would say it works for my use case.
