Overall Satisfaction with Shutterstock
I mostly use Shutterstock to find featured images for blogs and photos to embed in presentation slides. I need gorgeous, compelling images that don't feel authentic and not contrived. Shutterstock is a great place to get high-quality photos and illustrations that enhance my clients' brand and make them look professional.
- Large library with a great variety of high quality images
- "Similar images," "same model," and "same artist" suggestions to help you drill down your search for the right image
- Handy editing tool that lets you save your custom image sizes
- The editing tool has recently been updated and it doesn't seem to be working properly right now. But I trust they'll get it resolved quickly
- Affordable and flexible pricing options
- Quality photos
- Easy to search and use
- Allows me to provide more comprehensive marketing services to my clients
- Saves time hunting for images
- One-stop shop for all my image needs
- iStock and from Getty Images
Very comparable to iStock. In my experience, there isn't a huge difference between the two, but I like the way Shutterstock' provides suggested images for drill-down searching - iStock's suggestions are more limited. Shutterstock's pricing may be better as well, although it's been a while since I've compared the two.
