Overall Satisfaction with Simform

Pros

  • Very good in communication, meaning that they listen well but are also not afraid to share their own thoughts and expertise
  • Follow through on commitments, on time
  • Exceptional customer success team, with frequent leadership calls to see if we're still in alignment
  • Time zones are great (we're a remote company so we're already used to different time zones), and I feel like we have sufficient overlap to discuss The Important Things
  • Great ability to work under pressure (I needed some extra deliverables a few times for customer demos and they managed to pull that off)
  • Flexibility and great value, which is also great for smaller businesses with limited budget

Cons

  • Currently no areas of improvement. It feels like a true partnership where we help each other out
I previously used several Dutch suppliers, which were a less good fit based on a mix of pricing, commitment, and how fast they got up to speed / willingness to learn about the industry

This is what I love about Simform - The people I work with are amazing: both the UX designer and senior developer were quick to onboard, eager to get to know the industry and deliver their tasks at a rapid pace. Thanks to them I don't have to worry about falling behind on our roadmap. - Communication & customer service-> dedicated slack channel, quick to reply. I not 'just' work with 2 people, Simform has an entire project management system in place with multiple people so it's super easy to reach out to them and ask a questions - Flexibility and great value -> As a business owner I have to keep tight control on cashflow. With Simform, payment and contracts are very flexible, giving me enough confidence to flexibly scale-up my business rather. Furthermore, their pricing is both transparent and of really great value, so to me that definitely de-risks outsourcing this part of my business to Simform. I already had a small software development team in place (2 software developers + myself as product owner), so as an extension to the team Simform has been great. I have no experience myself in completely outsourcing development to Simform.

Evaluating Simform and Competitors

This was the first time I didn't contract a local (Dutch) agency to do this but instead an overseas. With the knowledge that I have right now, I would make the decision much faster to select this supplier
