Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds IP Address Manager (IPAM)

It is being used by the department to keep track of available IP addresses in conjunction with inventory device data from SolarWinds NPM.
  • Shows availability status of an address.
  • Pulls reverse DNS information.
  • Pull a list of forward DNS info.
  • Allow manually written metadata to keep rather than get overwritten during scans.
  • Group by custom property.
  • More organized deployments.
  • SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor, SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM) and SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (npm)
IPAM serves as a complementary module to the SolarWinds environment.
I haven't had many issues to address.

Good for network admins to know what IP addresses are available to allocate to new servers.
