We use SolarWinds NCM to push configuration across our network Devices Routers/Switches/Firewalls on the easy way. It does more than resolve problems, we used it to automate the manual processes to save time or for quick reactions to emergency changes.

Definitely, some things that SolarWinds has to improve is get more script options for vendors different than Cisco.

Return on Investment

We definitely had positive ROI to manage backups. We decomm many other cron options that we had before, and now with SolarWinds NCM we have all these backups on a single pane of glass.

Deployment is much easier than others like Cisco DNA, also because is a multivendor platform
