I had a project in Egypt with Starwind VSAN solution and it is a very stable solution that I recommend to implement it in any crucial site that needs an HA storage solution.

I tested both virtual targets of MS and Starwind and I found the ISCSI virtual targets feature in Starwind is more stable than the MS one.
