Overall Satisfaction with SUSE OpenStack Cloud

We use it across various offshore development centers with in our organization. We also use it to deploy open stack clouds with various customer premises as and when demanded by the customers. SUSE OpenStack Cloud is basically open source cloud OS platform which provides all cloud deployment functionalities like compute, storage and networking capabilities for our customers on premesis cloud requirements.
  • It is opensource and hence pocket friendly.
  • Was the first enterprise OpenStack cloud distribution.
  • Makes hosting lot of VMs on cloud easier.
  • Maintenance.
  • Customer support can be improved.
  • Updates can be made faster.
  • Being opensource.
  • Capability of hosting multiple VMs.
  • Providing private clouds to our customers.
  • Being opensource, it is pocket friendly.
  • Few customers are happy with its performance.
  • Private clouds with SUSE OpenStack makes secure private clouds.
Both of these have equal capabilities in creating and spawning VMs. Both are opensource and very well suited for customers who are in need of building and maintaining their own private clouds on their own on premises network infrastructures. In comparison, SUSE OpenStack Cloud is little behind in terms of providing faster updates. It also has room for improvement in terms of providing support.
