Overall Satisfaction with Teradata Vantage
I design applications, run ad hoc queries and support other users
- Manages significant datasets even with joins
- Manages workloads well
- Stores deep history if required
- String manipulation
- The only thing that usually holds me back is the data rather than the tech
- String manipulation can take a long time to get right
I have sought feedback from other people and nothing would appear to do what Vantage does for us. There may be new capabilities that are comparable to other providers, but for the everyday data engineering, I would struggle to find anything better
