Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO BusinessWorks

We used tibco businessWorks for interconnection of applications. The interface is really user-friendly and intuitive. The development is easy and deployment is too; the only downside is that you need to develop your own way to log or use another tool that is designed for that part. The learning path of the application is pretty simple if you have clear formation.
  • Interface is really intuitive
  • Configuration is pretty easy
  • Everything is doable
  • Logs are a problem is you don't have a framework
  • Easy development
  • Message-oriented Architecture (MOA) is easy
  • Performances are there
Once you are used to developing, it's really fast to create your own service and design it as you want. You can represent multiple levels of service and separate it as you want. It's really easy especially if you like to visualize how you want your service to be. For me, I feel like it's really fast for development.
The product is really easy to master so if you know what you want for architecture you will have no problem creating your own style. I felt like the product adapts itself to your needs, and provides a really good way to interconnect applications. I haven't had any trouble so far using Tibco BusinesWorks.
The testing part is really one of the best I've seen; you can really develop fast and test your services in seconds.
The graphical interface is in my opinion, the best between products you'll find and you can navigate easily while debugging between your process levels. The fact that it's so well designed is a really good point for me.
I feel like my experience is not big enough to compare clearly with another product in terms of architecture. For me the best thing about TIBCO businessWorks is that it's really a "designer" and the way to develop feels really natural for me. I feel like other products might not have that level of "design".
I think if you need to interconnect multiple applications and want to have an intuitive interface to develop, you can find that using TIBCO BusinessWorks. The development and deployment are pretty simple and it's pretty easy to train someone new to the technology. You'll need to at least know how the administrator is working though.
